Saying I’m horse crazy would easily sum up my love for horses.   It must be some childhood thing that I never grew out of maybe?  A horse was always at the top of my list for Christmas when I was little.  Riding lessons was my favorite activity and I always day dreamed about having my own one day.  Finally, I got one…..well, I got a Breyer Horse!  Which were, VERY ‘cool’, plastic horses back in the day.  So, I think it’s safe to say that I never grew out that desire for a horse and still would love to own one one day….that I could board at a stable….which I probably will never be able to afford.  I want to go on morning rides before the sun comes up or just after a fresh blanket of snow on the ground when the world is quiet….ok, I’m day dreaming again.

Pretty much any time there’s an opportunity to go to a horse event, I’m up for it!   Why not, right!?  I like trying new things.  I was in Dayton a few weekends ago and was invited to go to the Dayton Horse Show, which I thought would be cool to check out.   These horses were GORGEOUS and groomed to a T!

No, it’s not Darwin, my favorite yellow lab,…. it’s this girl.  Right here.  Yes me.  Yes….I’m the monster this summer.  I’ve been breaking flip flops like it’s my part time job!  Breaking three flip flops in one month is quite a large number.  I can’t keep up finding good replacements!    The two pairs below had to be photographed to to document this craziness.  The pair on the left I had for one week and the backs on both snapped within two steps of each other!  That left me to shuffle/walk very oddly to my car to get in and hide.  Just hoping that no one noticed.  How do these things happen to me?

Michelle’s baby boy just arrived!!  We took these when her due date was just two weeks away!  She was glowing and looked amazing!  His big sis was waiting for so long in anticipation for his arrival.  I’m sure she’s been smooching him up!  We met up in downtown Westerville, where there were so many cute shops and photo locations!  I don’t make it up there enough, but will have to head back for some future shoots!
