Wear what you love!  I suggest layering your clothing and bring a mix of cute/casual and dressy clothes.  Bring along some different options and we can select items during the session.  I recommend staying away from solid white shirts, plaids and stripes.  Keep things in the same color scheme, but outfits shouldn’t match exactly.  You’re getting your picture taken, so remember that clothing can make or break your images.  If you’re wanting a vintage look and feel, then you should wear vintage style clothing and do your hair and make-up in that vintage style as well.  Then WORK IT!!

Gals:

• Accessories are great!  Maybe a colorful scarf, belt, a fun piece of jewelry, or a pair of fabulous heels
• Tube tops don’t look as flattering in photos as they are in person

Guys:

• Cool jeans, a button up with a vest or a skinny tie are perfect
• Wear something you feel great in

Bring PROPS!  If there’s something you really love to do, I would love to incorporate it into your photoshoot. If you love your guitar, your favorite chair, your ipod, have a vintage bicycle, whatever says you!
